The tour was amazing but coming home to my girls was, in my opinion, even better. And home cooked food. Seriously, tour food sucks at times. And your own bed. That is kind of amazing, too. And your own shower. The list could go on and on but walking on stage, that energy and vibe you get is definitely worth a month (or a few months) of not so great food, hotel beds and sometimes crappy showers, and lack of my girls, and sex. The screaming fans help, too, of course.
Laurel is still perfect and beautiful, I missed her while I was away. I'm glad I'm not on tour for a while yet. Gotta work on the new stuff, after a few weeks off though, think I owe that to Jules.
Ok, I'm now going back to my sexy, beautiful girlfriend and my gorgeous daughter. It's still kind of crazy saying that.

Jules is sleeping. She had to have a c-section due to complications but the doctors say she will be fine and Laurel is... words can't describe how beautiful my daughter is. She's perfect, so tiny, it's amazing. I keep realising she's a part of me, that I helped make this tiny little person and god, she's breath taking.
I'm now going to go bug help the nurses give her a proper bath!

Is it wrong to hope Baby is here before Halloween so I can dress her up as Princess Leia? Elliott can be Darth Vader, Evan would be Yoda and Travis as C-3PO! It'd be epic. We could try and get Piper in a dress but I think Travis would end up as Princess Leia if we tried that...
Oh, we landed safely by the way.
